"In addition to outfitting some of my edged
tools with your lanyards, I also found another usage. I added one to the
zipper on my 5.11 vest to use as a pull tab. Looks pretty cool." — Bill

"Just got my "COP Tool" that I ordered.
That is one useful chunk of metal. I will now stop breaking the
tips off my expensive folder and
I finally have something that I can beat the Hell out of and it
hold up. No more looking for a screwdriver or prybar along with
a quick and dirty cutting tool...this is it - very cool. It is
just that, a "tool" - not a knife. Well done. Great design,
Great edge and grind." — Bob Layton
"At 50 years old, rarely do I find something anymore that I feel
I could not have lived without. Obviously I made it, but life
sure would have been easier at times if I had this tool. I have
now classified it as another Wilson product/ tool that I choose
not to live without. I have only had it for a day and have
already used it for umpteen tasks. Great job on production!!" —

"After
reading about them in
"Combat Tactics" magazine, I
recently ordered several
lanyards. These are some of
the neatest, most useful
items I've ever found. I
really appreciate that
they're handmade and very
reasonably priced. Half the
fun is discovering new uses
for them. Right now, they're
mostly on my range bags. How
about a blog sometime about
different ways that you've
heard your customers are
using them? Also, I echo the
sentiments in the magazine
article suggesting you offer
them in a dozen pack." —

"My name is Kyle Kroll, and I
am a Game Warden for the
California Department of
Fish and Game. Game Wardens
in California are full Peace
Officers who patrol all of
the states vast land and
marine resources. A few
years ago I purchased one of
your Model 1 knives with a
5.5" blade. The knife has
been a constant companion
since that time, and has
never let me down. It's
gutted, skinned, and
de-boned numerous wild boar,
blacktail deer, mule deer,
bear, and elk, and has
always worked great. While
on uniformed patrol, the
kydex sheath holds the knife
silently and securely on my
duty belt, directly behind
my Glock .40 caliber pistol.
During tactical work
(marijuana grows, arrest
warrants, backcountry man
hunts, poaching ops), the
knife's sheath can quickly
be moved from my belt to my
tactical vest.
On August
5, 2005 I was involved in a
shooting incident in my
patrol district of Santa
Clara County. I was
assisting in a marijuana
eradication operation in a
very remote area of the
county. Several Game Wardens
and Sheriff's deputies were
involved with me in the
raid. We were dressed in
full camouflage and tactical
gear. The deputies carried
AR-15's, while we carried
either M14's or M1A scouts.
During the approach on the
encampment we encountered
two well armed growers and a
shootout ensued. Numerous
rounds were exchanged by
both sides, leaving one
grower dead, and another
wounded. One of the shots
fired from a grower's AK-47
style rifle hit me and
traveled through both my
legs. The bullet, believed
to be either a soft or
hollow point, entered my
left thigh, exited, then
entered my right thigh,
fragmenting and exiting in
two places, leaving some
shrapnel as a reminder.
It took roughly three
hours for the chopper to
come. Leaving me waiting and
trying to fight off shock
with every ounce of energy I
had. The first medic showed
up on foot at about the 2
hour and 45 minute mark.
During the difficult climb
to the grow, he had
abandoned much of his
medical supplies.
He
tried to cut off my bloody
BDU's, but the scissors he
carried were barely cutting
through the dried blood,
mud, and rip-stop clothing.
He was doing more damage
than good, starting the
wounds to bleeding fast
again. I knew at that point
I didn't have any more blood
to waste. I handed him my
Wilson knife and told him to
try it, adding that he had
better not cut my balls off
because the thing was sharp!
Needless to say, he tossed
those shitty scissors and
had both legs of the BDU's
cut off in no time!
I spent 8 long days in
the hospital, and about a
month in bed. Amazingly,
after months of brutal
physical therapy, I was able
to return to full time Game
Warden work again. My first
day back on full patrol,
after completing firearm and
defensive tactics quals, I
hiked back up to the
shooting site for another
look. I attached a picture
of myself and my Wilson
knife at the grow, thanks
again for the great knife.
It'll always be there with
me, ready for anything
that's thrown at us!"

"I just wanted to write and
tell you your folders are top
notch I have had mine for only a
short time and the only thing I
regret about it is that I didn’t
order the level 2 with the CPM
S30V steel as opposed to the 440
in the level 1. Other than that
This knife is excellent the
workmanship is wonderful. I have
a lot to compare it to I own
many other folders from Emerson,
Strider, Benchmade etc. But your
folders top them all I am all to
happy to be able to take this
knife with me to Afghanistan and
am certain that it will meet or
exceed all of my needs. I will
write with an AAR on it’s
performance next year." — J
Pollard
"I received my Model 12 and
Model 13 today and must say
OUTSTANDING! These are two
awesome little knives. Thank you
for your great service and
knives. You can be assured that
in the near future I WILL be
ordering more knives (and most
likely a Military Model shotgun)
from you. Thanks and have a
great day." —

"Ya
know it seems like when your
waiting on something really
important those dang UPS guys
take their time...... it was
after 8:00 last night before
they came by..... really usually
late lol....but I finally got
the Tanto! I couldn't put it
down! First off, the grips are
fantastic! The spacers give it a
really classy touch, good job
there.... The shape of the
handle is really versatile for a
variety of grip positions... and
the file work on the spine
really gives it that fancy old
west dress dirk look ya
know......The tip is perfect,
that's exactly what I was after!
It looks like a mini-sword.
THE TEST:
Me having a Japanese sword arts
background in martial arts.....
I like to USE my swords and cut
various test targets..... i do
the same with my knives.........
I was able to cut a 1/2" Tatami
mat multiple times with this
knife. Tatami is a traditional
Japanese cutting target that
gives some resistance and this
knife went thru cleanly as if it
wasn't there.
I'm impressed, ill just put
it that way....... Its a great
sized knife....not too big to be
pretty easy to conceal in daily
wear, and its big enough to get
the job done......
Thanks again Ryan!"
